1- Kilt Waist Measurement
Normally a kilt is fastened at the belly button, but it’s totally up to you where you want to fasten it. The measuring tape should move around your body and you must be stand erect for this measurement.
However, the kilt waist is 2 to 4 inches more than pant or trouser waist.
2- Hip / Seat Measurement
The big area of the hip must be measured by using the measuring tape in order to get accurate hip / seat measurement
3- Kilt Length Measurement
The measurement from waist to the down to the knee is the kilt length. The kilt is for everyone, so you can measure the longest length if you like. Normally the length of the male kilt is 24 inches while the length of the female kilt is 20 inches.
